    Denise R. Prugh, DDS
    Board Certified Pediatric Dentist/Orthodontist

I grew up in Casper having attended Manor Heights, East Junior High, and Kelly Walsh High School. I started working in my father’s dental office when I was 13 and decided when I was 17 to become a dentist.

My college education began at Cottey College and then I finished my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Wyoming. For dental school, I attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

After practicing for three years in Casper as a general dentist I decided to return to school for further training. I was accepted to a residency program at UCLA where I specialized in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. After completing this 3 ½ year residency I returned to Casper to start my practice. I have been practicing for 15 years and I am the only dentist in Wyoming who is dual-trained in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics.

Dentistry doesn’t have to be scary. Surfin’ Smiles is all about making healthy smiles in a fun environment. The benefit of our practice is the extra years of training that enable us to help the very young, those with special needs, and children with medical concerns that can be overwhelming.

What I love most about my career is working with very young children and seeing them grow into adulthood. From the first baby tooth to creating beautiful smiles orthodontically that last a lifetime, our office is a fun dental home for the children of Casper and surrounding cities.

I have been married for 22 years and have two boys that keep me running to musical and sports activities. As a family, we enjoy spending time at Alcova Lake in the summer doing all water sports, especially surfing and wakeboarding. In the winter downhill and Nordic skiing are our favorites.

Casper is such a fantastic community for families and I feel so lucky to get to spend time with so many great kids and their parents!

    Everett I. Maynard, DDS
    Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

My family and I are natives to Casper, Wyoming. I graduated from Natrona County High School in 1998 and then proudly enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving as an F-16 jet crew chief for 6 years. I returned to Wyoming & earned my Bachelor of Science and Mathematics degree from The University of Wyoming. My education not yet complete, my wife Kelly and I moved to Lincoln, Nebraska for the next 4 years to complete dental school at the University of Nebraska, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) in 2013. Having thought my educational journey to be over, I challenged myself again & sought out a 2-year residency of the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Children’s Hospital & Medical Center, graduating 2015.

Residency provided me with a unique and exciting opportunity to specialize in care for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs. I received extensive specialized training encompassing growth and development, child psychology, treatment of traumatic injuries, and sedation dentistry. During this time, I served as lead dentist at the Bone Metabolism Clinic for children diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta/Brittle Bone Disease.

It is my philosophy to deliver quality dental care while building trust, alleviating fear, and promoting a positive attitude towards your child’s dental visit. I treat each appointment as an educational opportunity for both you and your child.

One of my passions is helping underserved people. For the last few years, I’ve joined a mission trip to Haiti to provide dental care to those in need. I am thrilled with the opportunity to continue my service with the Casper Community!

I’m blessed with a growing family which includes my beautiful wife Kelly, son Andrew, and newest addition, baby Charlotte. Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, weight lifting, fishing, and traveling. I am happy to be back in Wyoming!!!

I look forward to meeting you & your family.
